1. Description of Service

CarDrishti is an online software platform that parses vehicle maintenance invoices using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to translate descriptions, estimate cost fairness based on regional averages, and provide predictive maintenance recommendations. Additionally, the Service offers license plate lookup data sourced from the Dutch vehicle registry (RDW).

2. AI Accuracy & Safe Use Disclaimer

Our Service uses advanced generative AI models. **AI models can make errors, misinterpret invoice text, or calculate inaccurate estimates and road tax metrics. Please use this service with caution.**

• No Legal Conflict Use: You explicitly agree NOT to use the reports, fairness ratings, or data generated by CarDrishti in legal conflicts, court proceedings, consumer protection disputes, or as binding proof of overcharging or mechanic negligence against third-party service centers.
• No Professional Advice: The content provided is for educational and reference purposes only. It does not constitute certified mechanical diagnostics, pricing audits, or legal advice. Always consult a certified automotive mechanic for physical vehicle state inspections.

3. RDW Data & Expat Tools

Basic vehicle specifications and APK expiry dates are retrieved directly from the open registry of the Dutch Vehicle Authority (*Rijksdienst voor het Wegverkeer* - RDW). CarDrishti is not responsible for any inaccuracies, downtime, or incomplete records present in the public RDW dataset.

Quarterly Road Tax (MRB) calculations and monthly budget estimations are projections based on current tax formulas and fuel averages in the Netherlands and should not be treated as official tax invoices.

4. User Accounts & Invoice Uploads

You are responsible for safeguarding your account details. By uploading invoices (in JPG, PNG, or PDF formats), you confirm that you own the document or have explicit permission from the vehicle owner to upload it. You agree not to upload any malicious code or content that violates privacy laws.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CarDrishti (and its operators) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service, including conflicts with garages, vehicle breakdowns, or incorrect budget calculations.

6. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
